Tip #1: Utilize the app to identify optimal buttonhole placement by inputting the number of stitches and buttonholes into the calculator's decrease module. Execute the buttonhole when prompted to "k2tog."

Tip #2: Employ the app to facilitate even placket creation by calculating stitches per inch, deducting the specified pattern stitches per inch, and utilizing the decrease module to determine where to skip a stitch when picking up stitches "k2tog."
